About the Author

My name is Jett and I started this site to be a place where I could share my knowledge and opinions about the National Hockey League and Major League Baseball. I like to look at the leagues from the perspective that front offices do. I try to take emotions out of my opinions, regardless of what team I am discussing, to provide the best insight into why teams make the decisions they do.

My goal is to provide coverage of both leagues and their respective teams to the best of my ability, and to offer my thoughts on as wide a variety of topics as I can. From free agency, to trades, to power rankings, to game analysis, I plan to have it all.

My favorite hockey team is, and always has been, the Washington Capitals. I follow them more closely than any other team, but I plan to cover them in the same manner as any other organization. In baseball, I closely follow both the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals. I will offer praise when deserved but will criticize when it is appropriate to so do.
